On what basis will I be paid?
If you reside in the UK, there are two options:
  • Registered Self-Employed are people officially registered with Revenue & Customs as self-employed and submitting a monthly invoice. They are responsible for paying their own Income Tax and National Insurance contributions. Revenue & Customs home page.
  • Temporary Employees are people who are not self-employed and who therefore receive any pay after deduction of Income Tax and National Insurance contributions.
